Better-than-public offers on the Delta Platinum and Delta Reserve business cards

It is very likely possible to get a better-than public welcome offer on some of the Delta Air Lines credit cards. Here’s what we’ve found showing up on Amex’s website recently:

These increased offers won’t be shown to every user every time, but it’s likely possible to get them to show to you, using the tips below.

Why we only show these offers on this page

It is our editorial policy to promote the best offers that we can link directly to, regardless of our affiliate relationships. And if an offer only shows sometimes, we don’t have a consistent way to link to it.

But, we want you to know about these offers. So, where we notice banks occasionally offering better offers, we’ll put a note in our offer boxes and reference a page like this. That way our readers are aware of the offer. And if you’re willing to spend a few minutes visiting a site with different browsers or in incognito mode, you might be able to score one of these better offers.

How to find these increased offers

While there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to find these specific bonus offers, here are some of the things that you can try that have historically worked:

  • Multiple paths to the offer. If you don’t see the offer when clicking through our link, try going to the American Express website directly or running a search through your favorite search engine.
  • Incognito or Private Browsing mode. If you switch your web browser into whatever your browser calls its “don’t save my history” mode, you can sometimes get these better offers to show up.
  • Try another browser. If you normally use Chrome, try going into Safari or Firefox and see what you get.
  • Mobile or desktop. Sometimes Amex will show different offers based on if you are on your mobile phone or desktop.
  • Different internet connection. Which internet connection you use might impact which offer you see. If your mobile phone service allows you to use a mobile hotspot or tether your computer, that’s an easy way to get another internet connection. You could also try finding the offer from your work computer.

And, of course, you can try some combination of the above.

Bottom line: A little searching can earn you more points.

Like we mentioned above, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to find this specific offer, but you might be able to earn more points if you’re applying for this card and are willing to do a bit of searching.
