The offer above is the best current offer we know of on the Venture X card. (It’s our policy to always publish the best public offer we know of, regardless of our affiliate relationships.)
In 2022, we saw a public welcome bonus offer of 100k points after $10,000 of spending, but we haven’t seen this offer since then and we don’t expect it to show up again.

To us that makes it pretty clear who can earn a bonus for this card. If you got a Venture X bonus in the last 48 months, you won’t receive a new cardmember bonus. But anyone else should be able to earn the bonus, provided they meet the spending requirements.

Bottom line: A fair bonus on a great card
The welcome bonus is in-line with what Chase typically offers on its Sapphire Reserve card, so I’d say it is fair, but you can find similar (or larger) bonuses on our list of the best cash back welcome bonuses. But don’t get this card solely for its bonus. Get the Venture X because it is probably the best-value premium travel credit card out there.
