Chase transfer bonuses: New Air Canada Aeroplan bonus. Virgin Atlantic 25% bonus extended through mid-June 2025.

June 6, 2025: Chase and Air Canada Aeroplan have just announced a new transfer bonus through mid-July: 20% more points to Air Canada Aeroplan.

If you hold a premium Ultimate Rewards® credit card, you can transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to any one of Chase’s 11 airline transfer partners and three hotel transfer partners. Transfers to travel partners are key to maximizing the value of your Ultimate Rewards points and a transfer bonus can provide opportunity to get additional value.

Here’s what you need to know about the current Ultimate Rewards transfer bonuses.

Our take: We love Virgin and Aeroplan

The Aeroplan transfer bonus is exciting, since there are so many ways to use Aeroplan miles. I mention all of the things I love about Aeroplan in a YouTube video about Amex Membership Rewards from about a month ago… all of that holds true, regardless of transfer partner.

We’re in the waning days of the Virgin Atantic Transfer bonus, but I’ve become more and more of a fan of Virgin Atlantic since booking my entire family to Europe (and back!) for 120,000 Chase points on the current transfer bonus. It’s wonderful that the bonus got extended.

If you’re looking for summer or fall travel to Europe for your family, and you’re looking to use fewer points and fly in Coach, Virgin Atlantic has some great options.
