Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card bonus: Earn 90k Ultimate Rewards® points.

June 27, 2025: The Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card offers the largest welcome bonus available on any of the Chase Ink cards that earn Ultimate Rewards®. Here are all of the details on the best Chase Ink Preferred bonus.

Our take: What we think of the welcome bonus

The 90,000 point offer on the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card isn’t the largest bonus ever on this card, but it’s a darn good bonus. Few cards with this level of annual fee will offer as many points. While we’ve seen 120k offers within the recent past, there’s no guarantee that those offers will return any time son.

The Ink Preferred is a great alternative to the Chase Sapphire Preferred for small business owners. It offers similar travel protections and you’ll actually earn more points on your travel—at least on up to $150,000 you spend on travel during the year. And it usually offers a much larger welcome bonus. (Though as of our last update, Chase was running an absolutely massive 100k point bonus on the Sapphire Preferred.)

Other offers that might be available

We want you to get the best offer, so here are some of the other offers that might be available on this card.

  • In-branch offers: Chase occasionally has in-branch exclusive offers on some of its cards. We don’t currently know of any increased in-branch offers on this card.
  • Referral offers: Historically, when Chase has had increased limited-time bonuses on this card, those stuck around for a few days through referral links after they were pulled publicly. Keep this in mind if you just missed a larger bonus on this card in the future.

A few things to know before applying:

  • Chase Ink cards don’t impact 5/24. Historically, Chase wouldn’t approve you for a new card if you had 5 or more new accounts on your personal credit report within the last 24 months. Chase Ink cards don’t report to your personal credit report (as long as you pay on time) and therefore won’t impact your 5/24 status.
  • Chase Ink cards (kind of) are subject to 5/24 restrictions. While opening a Chase Ink card won’t count against your 5/24 status, Chase is unlikely to approve you if you have 5 or more cards opened and reporting to your personal credit report within the last 24 moths. However, this rule appears to be a bit more flexible for Ink cards than Chase’s other cards, according to some reports on Reddit and elsewhere.
  • You likely can get a small business card. You probably have a business and are eligible to get a small business credit card. Even small businesses like selling things on eBay or hobbies you are trying to monetize count.
  • Bonus eligibility. You should be eligible to earn this bonus if Chase approves you for the card. When we last read the terms, we saw no restrictions on earning the bonus if you’ve had the card before. Be sure to check the offer terms before applying.
