Chase Ink Business Unlimited® welcome offer: Largest-ever $900 offer is back

Chase is currently running a limited-time welcome offer on the Chase Ink Business Unlimited®. This offer matches the best offer we’ve sever seen on this card. (A similar offer is available on the Chase Ink Business Cash® card.)

Our take: What we think of the welcome bonus

The limited-time $900 offer on the Chase Ink Business Unlimited® matches the best offer we’ve seen on this card. Although this card doesn’t offer as many opportunities to earn in bonus categories as the Chase Freedom Unlimited®, the welcome offer is worlds better.

And since the current offer matches the biggest offer we’ve ever seen on this card, now is the time to apply.

Finally, it’s worth a mention that this bonus, although marketed as a “cash back” bonus, is actually awarded as Ultimate Rewards® points. That means, if you hold other Ultimate Rewards-earning cards, you can combine this card’s points with the points from your other cards and use them for premium travel redemptions if you hold a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

Are you eligible to earn the sign-up bonus?

When we reviewed the offer details, we didn’t find any restrictions on earning the sign-up bonus, even for previous or current cardholders. If you’re approved for the card and you aren’t informed during the application process that you won’t qualify for the bonus, you should be eligible to earn the sign-up bonus.

Other offers that might be available

It is our policy to link to the best public offer we know about, but there are sometimes better offers on this card that are in-branch exclusives or targeted offers.

  • Referral offers: Historically, when Chase has had increased limited-time bonuses on this card, those stuck around for a few days through referral links after they were pulled publicly. Keep this in mind if you just missed a larger bonus on this card in the future.

A few things to know before applying:

  • Chase Ink cards don’t affect 5/24. Historically, Chase wouldn’t approve you for a new card if you had 5 or more new accounts on your personal credit report within the last 24 months. Chase Ink cards don’t report to your personal credit report (as long as you pay on time) and therefore won’t impact your 5/24 status.
  • You likely can get a small business card. You probably have a business and are eligible to get a small business credit card. Even small businesses like selling things on eBay or hobbies you are trying to monetize count.
  • Bonus eligibility. You should be eligible to earn this bonus if Chase approves you for the card. When we last read the terms, we saw no restrictions on earning the bonus if you’ve had the card before. Be sure to check the offer terms before applying.
