The limited-time bonuses on the personal cards have ended, but as Southwest often does, when it’s not running limited-time bonuses on the personal cards, it is running one on the high-tier Performance Business card. This limited-time bonus is slated to end on 10/27/25.

My take on the welcome bonuses:
If you are looking to collect Southwest points, the offer on the performance business card is pretty compelling. The calculus around Southwest points has changed a little bit, since they no longer offer consistent value when redeemed. But the credit cards are also a little bit more valuable for the southwest flyer because of the free bag benefit.
Personally, I am not collecting Southwest points at the moment. But I could see going for this offer if you are looking for additional points to qualify for your companion pass, or if flying Southwest and holding their top-tier credit card makes sense.
